As mentioned above, it is illegal in the U.S. to remove / hide the fire orange tip. While you call playing in public or in a place where someone the police can you and your friends are not real. I've always camouflage Airsoft Guns in the woods. But you can use a small hand saw, a saw or an exacto knife.

It is illegal to remove or edit any gun, the orange tip on any style and an Airsoft BB. Also very dangerous because it could be mistaken for a real weapon and shot them.
